Edison Chen leaves Hong Kong secretly

Edison Chen has apparently left Hong Kong secretly for Los Angeles via Bangkok yesterday afternoon after sending the media on a wild goose chase with a “cat and mouse” manoeuvre.

Edison Chen’s mode of escape was described in detail by the media today as he managed to shake off the cluster of media camping at the Four Seasons Hotel and made his “escape” overseas without too much attention.

Yesterday at 7 in the morning, the 7-seater car (which Edison used to get around) and the BMW (used by his bodyguards to cover his car) left Four Seasons Hotel for Edison’s home and parked there until around 3 in the afternoon before it returned to the hotel. The reporters were shocked to learn that Edison was sighted at the airport at around 2.45pm. He had apparently took another car during that period to get to the airport. It’s said that he said goodbye smugly when he passed by the boarding gates.

He is expected to be discussing a possible movie deal in Los Angeles through his Hollywood agent, William Morris before leaving for New York where he will enrol in the six months movie production course at New York University. He will thus not be back in Hong Kong for at least the next year or so.

Edison participation in the investigations with the police ended on 26th February and he has stated through his lawyers that he left Hong Kong knowing that his status is that as a victim. But the police claims otherwise and said that that is what Edison thinks. They refused to count out the possibility of him turning into an accused party.

Meanwhile in the latest Next Magazine, Nicholas Tse is reportedly faking a front in front of everyone and is deliberating over a divorce with Cecilia Chung.

He is apparently still pretty upset with Cecilia for lying to him about her fling with Edison while dating him. He is stopping short of asking for a divorce in case Cecilia brings their son and commit suicide together and second, not wanting to be seen as a “heartless” husband.

Two well-known female stars involved in Edison Chen’s scandal?

It must be really silly of the police to reveal that they have found more female celebrities pictures in Edison’s computers but yet not reveal the names. Various newspapers especially the scandalist magazines in Hong Kong have latched onto these and create name lists of their own based on “leaked” information and clues from the police supposedly. This was inevitable since “Kira” disappeared and they had to do follow-up reports on the scandal.

Now in the latest Sudden Weekly magazine, it claims that among the photos newly discovered from Edison’s computer, two of them are actually very famous female starlets. Yes, very famous they stress.

According to sources, the two big female stars enjoy a revered status and has tremendous influence in the industry. They also have good relations with both the wealthy and underground world. If their photos are exposed, Edison would face even greater pressure and possibly incur possible death.

The magazine even released silhouette images of the two female stars so they must have an idea of who exactly they are. On the left is the female starlet who is named, “车仔面” and has two sets of photos. Ten of them shows her wearing her undergarments in a hotel room in different poses. The other 20 photos sees her and another guy together and their actions are linked, possibly screencaps from a video. This female star is reportedly a very beautiful woman possibly in this world. She was very active in her early days in the movie world and had lots of scandals with many stars. Netizens guess it’s Shu Qi or Christy Chung.

The other woman on the right is known as “冇艇搭”and is nearing 40 years old. She has appeared in movies over the past 20 years but is gradually moving towards a career in the financial world. Her photos are mostly taken in a hotel and has many close-ups and is quite “racy”. The photos aren’t very clear though and are likely to come from a video. Widely speculated to be Carina Lau.

More female starlets linked with Edison Chen nude photos scandal

With the case still undergoing investigation, the police revealed new hints yesterday to the media about the characteristics of the newly-found female starlets photos they found in Edison’s home last week. I am not sure if that was a wise move, because netizens started linking them to starlets which were either or never romantically liked with Edison before.

1. Pouty-lips woman　　
Older than Edison but has a great body. Most of the photos centered on the legs and some “racy” clips. Netizens are guessing it might be Shu Qi.

2. Big-face doll
Knew Edison from commercial filming. Rarely appears in sexy image. She is very restrained in the photos and only the guy is “active” all the time. Fiona Sit?　　

3. Idol singer
Has said recently that she has nothing to do with Edison in many interviews, no photos at all. But actually there are. In the photos, she is without make-up and doesn’t have a great body. But she has fair skin but poses are very “stiff”. Netizens are guessing it’s Stephy Tang.　

4. Dreamy Girl　
Talented female singer who debuted in 2005. Knew another mixed-blood girl in a pub. Her photos are mainly of her, another girl and a guy. Most are close-ups and her photos are apparently the most “hardcore” ones. Jill Vidal?

Some might be real and some might be just pure speculation. But in the end, who suffers? The female starlet of course. This could be one of the mind games of the police to “force” female starlets to co-operate with them instead of just shutting their doors and denying any involvement.

On the contrary to what was reported earlier, Candice Chen and Bobo Chan marriage could be back on. Candice apparently has staunch support from her boyfriend and although the banquet is off, the wedding will go on probably in Hong Kong or overseas and they will start a new life overseas as well.

Bobo Chan future hubby has always been supporting her through this tough times. And even her father-in-law has supported Bobo saying he doesn’t mind her past as long as she loves his son and vice versa. The only stumbling block is her mother-in-law who is still seething from this and Bobo would have to win her over to get her wedding back on track.

According to sources, Edison claimed in his statement that his actions was to benefit another party. Their motive was to threaten the female starlets to do their bidding with these photos and videos. It’s not surprising if it’s true, since triads and entertainment companies have long been linked together.

Edison plans to leave the Hong Kong entertainment industry isn’t going to come anytime soon. It’s reported that he is due to organise a concert for a group under his label which was going to happen soon but postponed to the latter half of the year because of a lack of sponsors. Gillian leaves message for fans; Ella Koon denies involvement

Since the nude photo scandal, Gillian Chung has not spoken much about that other than the ill-conceived message she gave at the press conference earlier this month. Yesterday morning at 4.41am, she left a message at one of Twin’s fan forum, as she spoke about how difficult this whole thing has been for her, showing that her strong image on the outside is not as it seems.

A picture of Ella Koon resting her head on a pillow surfaced yesterday and rumors abound that she might be involved in the scandal. But she has immediately refuted that by saying she was not in a relationship with Edison but she is acquainted with him merely as a contact. That picture was taken in a bus with her resting her head on the head rest and we were thinking too much.

On the other hand, Edison was questioned again for 5 hours yesterday and will leave Hong Kong once investigations draws to a close. It’s noted that he is feeling more relaxed and has a better appetite since his press conference.

On a happier note, Edison is primed for a meatier role in the new Batman Part 3. The director was happy with his cameo role in Batman Part 2: The Dark Knight and praised him for his acting skills.

Edison Chen had been staying in Four Seasons Hotel last Friday to escape the media onslaught on his home. But a twist of coincidence saw Nicholas Tse and Cecilia Cheung also checking into the same hotel that same day, it’s believed that when they bumped into each other, both men nearly came to blows with Cecilia crying and trying to separate them. Nicholas was softened by her tears but still faced off against Edison for about 3 minutes. He finally relented and backed off, probably mindful of the costly bodyguards that Edison had hired. Nicholas and Cecilia checked out of the hotel immediately and headed back to their own home. Conflicting reports on whether they still are together.

Bobo Chan whose wedding plans was scuppered by this unfortunate scandal is reportedly three months pregnant which might explain why she was about to get married. But with her wedding now officially off because of objections from her mother-in-law, netizens are up in arms and feeling unjust for her.

Jolin Tsai whose name has been tainted by this scandal has asked for the Hong Kong police to release the list of female starlets implicated in this. According to sources, the list of unidentified women photos which was newly discovered in Edison’s home last week belonged to a Taiwanese star, Hong Kong star and a model. Elva Hsiao is also implicated in this because of past links with Edison.

Jolin hopes that the police will reveal names so that her reputation is not tarnished by this. But the police themselves are at their wits end because despite pleas to Cecilia Cheung, Candice Chen and other female stars linked to this scandal to help with investigations, none of them have been willing to step forward to co-operate. With no one stepping forward, the Hong Kong police has no choice but to keep their silence over this matter.

The Hong Kong police have also refused to rule out the possibility that Edison Chen could turn from being a victim in this scandal and be charged in court instead for photographing Vincy who could be underaged when she was photographed and being in possession of “racy” photos and videos.

Edison Chen has more photos than what was previously speculated!

In the aftermath of Edison Chen’s press conference last Thursday, he has been dutifully assisting the Hong Kong police in their investigation into the nude photos scandal. Other than welcoming them into his home to collect evidence, the only other place he has been to is the police station.

The police went to Edison’s house on Thursday night to collect evidence from his computers. Edison Chen has also been at Wanchai Police HQ for the past two days in a row to be interviewed but nothing conclusive has come out of this.

Rumours though surfaced that from the computer equipment surrendered by Edison, the police have discovered almost 1,000 more sex photos that they did not previously know about. They also discovered sex video clips. Three new women, who appear to be celebrities, have been implicated by the new photos and police have contacted them after Edison IDed them. They are believed to be the rumoured girlfriends of Edison Chen over the past few years.

Meanwhile, Gillian has reportedly caved in to the numerous criticism directed towards her this past week and have shut herself off from the world and turned down job offers. And in contrast to Edison’s apology which got him some breathing space at least for now, Gillian’s “I’m Naive” apology has lowered her popularity level even further. The nude photos scandal is clearly coming to an end with only investigations pending. It has been an interesting past few weeks thanks to “Kira” but Hong Kong image has clearly taken a big hit here.

Update: In the aftermath, Hong Kong police visited Edison’s home yesterday evening to gather evidence as he surrendered his computer equipment.

The man behind the nude photos scandal, Edison Chen accompanied by East Asia Music boss, Peter Lam flew back to Hong Kong via Philippines at 10am this morning. His immediate destination upon arrival was Kowloon police station.

He held a press conference at 3pm in Kowloon World Trade Centre and just like what Gillian did earlier, he only read a statement in english (chinese translation would be given to the media) and did not answer any questions.

Edison Chen doesn’t have photos of starlets only; Gillian might be fired from EEG?

Due to the unfortunate passing of Lydia Sum early yesterday morning, Edison Chen’s face for the first time in three weeks, was off the headlines of various newspapers. With no further action by “Kira” or any headway made by the police in the past few days, more speculation filled the papers just to keep the scandal going until Edison mades his statement later this week.

According to the latest Southern Metropolis Weekly, Edison Chen doesn’t just possess photos of fellow female stars but also including the wives and daughters of predominant businessmen and members of Hong Kong’s elite society. Now you know why the triads are after him!

Edison was undoubtedly a “playboy” in his own league and once wagered with a director that he had nude photos of female starlets. The director didn’t believed him and in the end lost 100 thousand HK dollars to Edison.

Edison is also reportedly to have been “hurt” by love in the past which resulted in his behavior of photographing every female he has been with and sharing it with his friends. According to a close associate of Edison, he would often pull out every trick in his book to get them to do what he wants them to. It includes buying them Cartier couple bracelets (almost every female star has them), sweet talking, etc. “He knows what women want, and their love for branded stuff. He would always get them “limited” edition stuff and then sweet talk them, for example, ‘You’re my princess’. After all that, every girl thinks they are really that great and would then succumb to whatever he requests.”

With Edison’s image taking a battering and his non-action in addressing the situation, his sponsors are apparently very unhappy with him and already, five companies have cancelled their contracts with him and might file lawsuits against him for violating the terms of his contract. Facing the prospect of unemployment and lawsuits, Edison is heading for potential financial meltdown.

It hasn’t been any better for Gillian Chung either. She has become the “target” of Hong Kong citizens since her comeback after the scandal broke.

Gillian made her second public appearance with fellow Twins member, Charlene Choi yesterday at an EEG event. They were the last to perform and did what they were suppose to do. This was despite TVB receiving a record number of complaints over her appearance during a charity event on Sunday.

Many netizens have been sticking up products that Gillian endorsed and asked fellow netizens to boycott buying them until the day Gillian announces her intention to leave the entertainment industry. According to sources, EEG is only testing how the “market” is reacting to Gillian and if this continues to go on without an end in sight, they might release her from her contract.

There were apparently airport sightings of him in Shanghai yesterday but it was a hoax after a check with immigration. An East Asia Music spokesperson revealed however that Edison would be back within this week and the earliest would be this Thursday or Friday. He is under fire from basically the whole world and will make his stand regarding the whole matter in a press conference.

Security is the biggest obstacle holding Edison from coming back to Hong Kong. There are reportedly instructions passed from a renowed triad boss that whoever cut off one of Edison’s hands will receive a 500 thousand cashfall. The police aren’t taking this threat lightly and are monitoring the situation. Edison has revealed (not sure if it’s reliable) that he was forced to take these pictures so that someone can use them to force the female starlets to do things they didn’t want. Hasn’t been seen in public since his public statement video.

Gillian Chung returned to the stage on Sunday for the first time since the scandal but her presence has drawn hundreds of complaints.

Chung and her singing partner, Charlene Choi of the pop duo Twins, were among an all-star line-up for a show, held by the local TVB station, fundraising for the snowstorm-stricken people on the mainland.

TVB received more than 170 complaints against Chung appearing on the show and their gripe was they couldn’t accept her explanation and accused her of lacking honesty and some acted to boycott her.

Vincy rejects Edison’s marriage proposal; Gillian is married?

We know that Edison’s not coming back to Hong Kong today and word is that the initial news saying he was returning today was cooked up by the media in the first place. So there’s no need for East Asia Music nor Edison to comment on the no-show today. They refused to set a date on his eventual return.

The media revealed yesterday that Edison Chen had been actually proposing to Vincy all this while in Boston that they should get married, not once but at least four times. He hoped to use the marriage as a base to turn over a new leaf and even sought to threatening slitting his wrists to “force” Vincy to accept. But following discussions with her family, Vincy rejected his proposal firmly.

It’s believed that instead of flying back to Hong Kong today, he has gone to Vancouver, Canada to help his mother move to another place (avoid the media glare) and also take temporary refuge for some relief.

His refusal to return to Hong Kong now stems from the fact that he could be hunted down by the triads upon his entry and also possible prosecution (victim -> accused) by the police for his involvement in the scandal.

Rumours flew around the media yesterday that Gillian and Juno Mak with whom she has been seen with since the scandal broke got married secretly. A simple check at the marriage registry yielded no results and an interview with Gillian’s manager revealed, “Stop kidding!”. It’s most likely another hoax once again.

There are many rumours flying around as to how Edison Chen is returning to Hong Kong or whether is he in Hong Kong already. But according to the latest news report from Netease.com after contacting East Asia Music today, it’s understood that Edison Chen’s scheduled return to Hong Kong tomorrow and his subsequent press conference has been cancelled, no reason given.

Edison Chen was supposed to give a press conference tomorrow to address the public about the recent sex photos scandal. He was also due to report at the Wanchai Police Station to record his statement and provide useful information. But that is all up in smoke now judging from this turn of events. East Asia Music expressed that when Edison does return, they will contact the media so that they can “welcome” him back.

Now what has led to Edison Chen sudden cancellation of his scheduled return? Maybe he chickened out on the possibility that he might be taken out by the triads (Albert Yeung alleged links) once he returns while the police are also after him. So maybe he wants to make his return to Hong Kong in a quiet manner.

Meanwhile on the other hand, Gillian has been involved in several polls where the netizens have voted against seeing her on television. Kira is back with 2 new photos, reportedly linked to Edison sex photos scandal

Just when everything seems to be getting back to normal, two more photos of female starlets apparently linked to Edison Chen sex photos scandal surfaced on the internet yesterday evening.

The photos are believed to be of two girls where one appears naked in one and the other performing a sexual act on a guy in the other. The quality of both pictures are pretty low resolution from a video camera. The photos matched the set of photos released of the girl earlier on. The girls are believed to be Rachel Ngan and Bobo Chan. We can see Edison clearly filming the whole act.

A simple check of the photo showed that it was taken using a Sony DCR-PC100 on 30th July 2001. The date matches with what Rachel said in an earlier interview about intimate photos she had taken with Edison in the past.

The photos was posted on 香港高登 early yesterday morning. A poster by the name of 牛腩3号 posted the photo asking the laptop model in the background of one of the photos. Netizens were shocked to find out that the photo was not seen before and the post was swiftly deleted. The forum admins have notified the police and believed that 牛腩3号 might lead them to “Kira”.

There was also links about a Maggie Q video released yesterday but that is definitely fake. A file, “CGX杨永晴视频” (Edison Chen Vincy Yeung video) was out today but that is also fake because the girl is definitely not Vincy.

Posted a conspiracy theory about “Kira” possibly disappearing for good yesterday. With new photos being leaked again, it does seem like “Kira” is not going to die that easily. So with that in mind, I shall post another conspiracy theory from batgwa.com about “Kira” just biding his time.

The photos were stolen a long time ago. At first Kira talked to Edison, asking for 5 million HK dollars, but it was not agreed upon. Edison was afraid he won’t be able to get back all the photos. He looked for Albert Yeung (EEG’s president) to help him on the matter. Eventually, Kira released some information to the media, the magazines last year briefly mentioned this matter. However because of EEG’s influential power, magazines were afraid to show the photos nor pay Kira. Through the help of magazine’s editor, one of the three members from Kira’s group was found. He knew that whether he surrender the photos or not, he was doomed. He did not say anything while being questioned, and was eventually killed.

The other two then fled to Southeast Asia, and again try to extort EEG and Edison. Before the matter gained public attention, Edison already knew, because both parties could not agree on a price, this time Kira was asking more than 10 millions. Edison took a private car to Shenzhen, then to Macau, took a private plane from his dad’s friend to the United States, and look for Vincy Yeung to help his cause. Albert Yeung thought he could handle the matter, but eventually it was still not solved. Kira decided to raise the price, and released the photos the night when Edison fled HK. Since that day, Kira has been raising his price every day. It is believed Kira is in Thailand and Indonesia, and Kira is a group of two, and the data has been uploaded to the United States.

Do not think you have seen the best of them all, why hasn’t C10 and Maggie Q’s photo been released yet? This is because Kira hasn’t gotten the right price, or because of safety reason, there isn’t a safe way for him to get paid.

Right now, both parties are fighting. The involvement of HK police has propelled the tension to its maximum. If Kira is sure he couldn’t get his money, there’s gonna be a monster upload, but not all. The reason is because there’s heavy involvement from other celebrities, including HK, China and Taiwan. The final straw for Albert Yeung must be the three photos of his niece, Vincy Yeung that got him really worried. “Kira” is unlikely to appear again since he got what he wanted, $$$. It will be interesting to hear him speak about this in details since his video message earlier on didn’t tell us much and was a disappointment.

Some eagle-eyed netizens have linked some items in a laundry basket found in the picture to Edison Chen because apparently he has been photographed before wearing the exact same things. I don’t know about all of you, but frankly I’m pretty tired from covering this that goes on and on. Gillian Chung who was implicated in the Edison Chen sex photos scandal, became the first female starlet to step out yesterday and admit that it was her in the photos indirectly. Two ridiculous news arising from Edison Chen scandal

There are two news reports arising from this Edison Chen scandal that’s simply ridiculous and you can’t believe things like this could actually happen.

Before you go any further, please do make sure you are not eating while viewing the below-mentioned clip. His views and behavior does not constituite how Singaporeans behave generally. (I am in shock myself)

1) This is a clip of the infamous Steven Lim naked (?) and professing his undying support for his idol, Edison and telling us not to bully him. He continues by saying it’s no big deal taking those pictures and it’s none of our business.

2) According to HK newspaper reports, the recent scandal has led to many people losing their sleep in their bid to search for the photos. One middle-aged man decided to spend his Chinese New Year searching for the photos.

This 50 year old netizen lives in Fanling together with his wife. At around 9pm last night, he retreated to his room after dinner to begin his search for the photos. Despite being stricken with flu and feeling quite weak, he ignored his health and the cold weather and was determined to find the photos at all cost. He burnt the midnight oil and his search took him till 7am the next day where he finally found the “holy grail”. After the exhilaration of achieving his goal, he let out a shout and collapsed beside his computer probably due to fatique.

Luckily for him, his wife was awakened by his scream and immediately called for the ambulance. He is now alright after undergoing treatment and is believed to have “overworked” in his attempt to find the photos.

Please do not be stupid and neglect your health because of this. Be smart and use google! There’s plenty of information around lying in the comments.

“Video will be uploaded when Gillian Chung appears in public today”, claims mystery poster

The Edison Chen sex photos scandal is really getting out of hand as the days go by instead of winding down. At around 2300 hours last night, a netizen posted a message in Tianya.cn forums stating that the moment Gillian Chung makes her public appearance today, he/she will post the video simultaneously!

The netizen that posted this message said that he/she was posting on the behalf of “Kira”. The post subject also added that “Kira” was not in Hong Kong.

Thank you everyone for your support. 1) I am not using the photos/videos to extort money and this is to rebuke earlier reports that I am extorting money for this. 2) What Jackie Chan said today in an interview made me very unhappy. He even goes on to say that Jackie is somewhat implicated in the video (?) It’s believed that he is responding to Jackie Chan’s plea to netizens not to care about the photos but show care for those affected by the snowstorms instead. 3) He ends by saying that video will be released the moment Gillian appears in public later this afternoon.

There seems to be something going on behind the scenes since “Kira” seems to be either using Gillian to elevate the scandal even further or trying to stop her from appearing at all! What unpredictability this is turning out to be.

Gillian meanwhile has not yet recovered from this hurtful scandal and despite her present state of mind, today’s fan meeting appearance is not something that she is doing willingly. Rather it was forced upon her after sponsors threatened her to make a statement. Albert Yeung & wife will be present too.

- The scandal has made its rounds around the world and in Japan, rumours abound that Suzuki Anne, Edison’s co-star in movie, “Initial D” could also be involved. Edison was very caring towards her during filming and even participated a Japanese variety show with her.

- Edison is a wanted man now on three accounts. By sponsors to terminate their contracts with him, triad bosses for his involvement with Vincy Yeung and causing chaos, and the police for possibly committing a crime. - A script of what Gillian was going to say today was leaked online. The authencity cannot be verified and is likely a prank by bored netizens.

The Twins fanclub event started at 1pm as they had a gathering with 100 over fans playing all sorts of games and having fun. The press conference started at 2.15pm and ended rather abruptly in just under one minute but Gillian Chung was all smiles during the entire event from start till finish. It seems like no one knows what the real intention of Kira is behind his biggest scandal ever to hit Hong Kong. Speculation of extortion and revenge against Edison Chen/Albert Yeung (EEG boss) has been mooted but not confirmed.

There was new speculation that “Kira” is actually a group of three who actually got hold of the photos and videos last year and had tried to extort money from Edison Chen. Edison Chen told Albert Yeung about it and through some ways, they set a trap and managed to ensnare one of them. The other two however got away and are believed to have escaped to Thailand and Indonesia and continued to extort money from them.

They continued negotiations but it never worked out as they kept jacking up the prices with every additional day. “Kira” is now biding his time and has even more shocking material that has yet to see daylight because they are his bargaining chips. Bobo Chan’s pictures plus those of Gillian, Cecilia were just sacrificial lambs. Vincy Yeung’s photos was to shock EEG and Albert Yeung that they are not to be taken lightly. “Kira” is just slowly posting the pictures to cover his tracks and increase his bargaining chips.

“Kira” promised a video and 600 pictures on the first day of Chinese New Year. It has been three days since then and we have no video. Pictures though have been released in batches like episodes from a soap opera.

Yesterday, belonged to Bobo Chan as about 71 pictures of never seen before photos was leaked onto the internet. In one of the photos, we can clearly see part of Edison’s face who is clearly taking the picture. This followed the day before where Gillian and Cecilia had more photos of themselves released.

Edison’s present girlfriend, Vincy Yeung was not spared from this as three photos of her coming out from the showers was leaked on the internet. One photo shows her showering, another sees her looking towards the camera, all indicating that she knows she was being photographed in the buff.

The Hong Kong police meanwhile are expressing that they have difficulty policing and catching “Kira” because of the advanced technology that’s being used to spread the photos. The police are coming up against a brickwall because netizens are spreading the photos through email and this intrudes on privacy if the police investigates it. In addition, the photos seemed to be posted first overseas and it’s hard to track them down if they are using foreign emails and wireless connections. Plus, there are many IP masking tools available too. The Hong Kong media believes that the matter has gotten out of control.

More damaging pictures of Gillian and Cecilia released

Into the 13th day of the scandal, although no new starlets has been exposed in the form of videos and pictures as promised, more damaging pictures of Gillian Chung and Cecilia Chung has been released.

The number of Gillian pictures released has widened to include set photos of her in black lingerie while another new set is of her in a white bra and panties. It’s estimated that Edison must have took her pictures from 2001 to 2006 judging from the looks of it. Gillian has the longest timeframe amongst the female stars to have her pictures taken. One of Cecilia’s photo exif information showed that it was taken in June 2005. While for Bobo Chan’s case, her scandal with Edison started from 2001 and ended in 2004 and from the arrangment in Edison’s room, the photos must have been shot between 2002, 2003.

And from this, we can see that Edison must have relationships with 2 or more starlets at one given time, or maybe even more. It seems like the more revealing photos are those whom he must have a relationship with while the others must be just flings or a one night stand.

This incident has shocked the entire world not just Asia alone and Edison’s name has become the butt of discussion all over. He must have some psychological problem to be filming every female star he has been with. Edison Chen has also been the most searched term on Google over the past few days.

The video was nowhere to be seen because it was deleted soon after it was posted. The Jolin photos are not the real deal as it was just someone who looks like her posing as a Jolin wannabe. Maybe he couldn’t get Jolin and so got someone who likes her?

The 3 photos of Vincy Yeung in the showers looks to be real and I really despise Edison for doing this since Vincy is only at most a 16 year old student probably when he started wooing her. With her uncle, Albert Yeung triad connections, Edison is better off going into hiding.

The various forums in China and Hong Kong are now being policed heavily so links appear and go in a flash. “Kira” is probably just biding his time.

Edison Chen “celebrity sex scandal” gets reported on CNN

Despite the message by “Kira” that he/she would release 600 photos plus the video, there were no signs of it on the first day of Chinese New Year which left many disappointed who had been stalking the various forums the whole day.

Meanwhile, the scandal which has been the top story in Hong Kong for the past week got reported on CNN recently and even more people knows about it now.

And there were many fake posts yesterday posted among the many forums stating that they have got the video, new pictures of so and so but they were nothing but frauds who was just trying to cash in on the publicity and increase hits to their own forum/blog which is really a shame. There was a video but it was just an animation pieced together from the various screenshots released earlier to resemble a flash animation sort of clip.

Meanwhile, singer Cathy Leung was wrongly identified as one of the woman (unknown02) in the 251.rar. It has now been ascertained that it was Mandy Chen Yu Ju instead. She got to know Edison Chen in 2001 while she was participating in a beauty pageant and he was one of the performers that night. She was in the industry for a while but has since left. This brings to the number of starlets that has been exposed in this scandal to six.

Vincy Yeung despite her uncle, Albert Yeung denying that they were ever together, continued giving her support to Edison and refused comment on the matter. Gillian Chung seems to be unaffected by this though as she has been signed to endorse 3 new commercials while her existing role in her movie, “Mei Lang Fang” will remain instead of being edited away. It’s not so good for Bobo Chan though whose impending marriage is rumoured to have been called off. Cecilia Cheung meanwhile has probably saved her marriage with her new pregnancy.

Hong Kong citizens are up in arms claiming that the police are siding with the celebrities and instead catching the innocent citizens to wrap up the case. “Kira” still at large as more Edison sex photos are leaked

Just like when it seems everything was going back to normal with just the court cases pending, the Hong Kong police was made to look like fools as a new set of 4-6 photos of Edison Chen engaging in sexual acts with some female starlets was posted yesterday afternoon simultaneously through email and then forums.

Among three of the photos, starlets that look like Gillian Chung, Cecilla Chung, Bobo Chan were in them and seemed to belong to the earlier set of leaked photos. But it has gotten even more hardcore then the earlier ones when you see the new pictures. Two photos however seemed to be new faces which couldn’t be identified because they are too blur. One of them is speculated to be singer, Yu Chiu (赵颂茹) who has already left the industry while the other is a Japanese AV star. These two are also widely understood to be photoshopped though and are just complimentary photos.

The new set of photos has gotten the netizens all fired up once again while the society which has barely stabilized a day ago is once again rocked by this turn of event. The Hong Kong police who proudly announced the day before that they had caught the original poster of the pictures is left with egg on its face with this latest development. There was even an accompanying preview message of what’s to come next which are as follows.

The police believe that most of the photos came from a video camera with the rest coming from a digital camera. “It can’t be just from a camera, there are 1,300 photos, it’s impossible for them to take pictures while they are getting intimate with each other. We believed that it was captured on video camera and then screens were extracted from it later on into photos.” The police are also trying to find out from the female starlets whether they were willing parties when these pictures were snapped because they seemed to be drunk or maybe drugged judging from their flushed faces.

It’s rumoured that at least 800 photos have been leaked from the 1,300 plus photos from Edison’s laptop. From the standard of the new batch of photos and how hardcore they are this time, it’s obvious that this was planned meticuously and laying down an open challenge to the police.

With no new pictures/videos posted in the last few days, it seems like the real mastermind has been finally been caught by the police. This following an annoucement from the police yesterday that two more people have been arrested, bringing to it a total of eight people thus far.

Police raided a computer outlet at Stanley Road with several computers taken away for investigation. The police believed that they have caught the mastermind and justice will be served soon once investigations conclude.

Netizens hoping for more will be disappointed by this turn of events. As for the stars affected by this incident, time will tell whether this would affect their careers, more so for Edison and Gillian who are still active. The saga is now 90% concluded with just the court cases pending now.

Edison Chen press release on his sex photos scandal

Exactly one week after the scandal first broke, Edison Chen has finally broke his silence and released an apology video clip through his lawyer to the media this evening. The video clip sees Edison Chen decked in a white collared shirt sitting by himself in front of a greyish-white background as he read his statement.

Making his first public statement since the scandal broke, there was understandably a depressed look on his face as he spoke in english.

Many netizens are not buying his statement and are visibly disappointed that he is shifting the blame onto others and not a sense of guilt uttered by himself. His statement also tell us that the photos are real and not photoshopped. There is a poll that believes that the person who took the pictures in the first place should be prosecuted and not the ones who spread them.

The police revealed that employees at Elite Multimedia Computer Shop had seen Edison Chen walk-in into their shop in 2006 to get his Apple notebook serviced. It is believed that a 23 year old male employee discovered the said photos and subsequently duplicated it on discs to share it with friends. The pictures subsequently leaked onto the internet. It is believed that one of the duplicated discs was lost and the whereabouts unknown. The police refused to confirm if more will get leaked after another Cecilia Chung photo was posted yesterday.

The police also confirmed that a total of 1,300 photos were discovered with at least six female stars and a male star involved. Apple Daily Hong Kong, experts at linking everyone together have put together an excellent chart charting his involvement with nearly every artiste in the entertainment industry, be it lovers, friends, foe, colleagues, the list is staggering.

Edison Chen and Gillian Chung are the worst affected coming out of this. Cecilia Chung is more or less out of the picture since getting married and having children. More arrested as Edison Chen sex photos saga draws to a close?

With no leaked pictures or videos since the photoshopped Joey Yung one, more news broke today that the Hong Kong police has apprehended four guys and 2 girls in association with the case early yesterday morning.

They managed to find in their possession over 1000 “pictures” thanks to a tip-off from the public. The suspects apparently knew each other and will be charged with the offence with posting the pictures on the internet next week. They are however unrelated to the man caught earlier. The pictures involved Edison Chen and other female artistes linked to this case.

The three suspects that were caught are in the information technology industry and it’s believed that the pictures were copied from Edison’s Apple laptop when he sent it for repair in 2006 through a proxy. Another source however states that the leak came after Edison sent his digital camera for repair where it was discovered that pictures and videos of him and female stars were stored in the memory card which was later duplicated on a CD and leaked.

Although police have refused to confirm their stand, but it’s believed that they believed the photos are real and not photoshopped. They are still open to any more leads and will continue their investigations as they believe that the original poster is still at large right now. They also revealed there’s no financial problems as reported earlier with Edison or his family. Only two unidentified artistes have stepped in to lend their assistance to the investigations.

So it seems like the scandal is drawing to a close with no new pictures/videos posted and more arrested to deter those who dares to spread more damage. Meanwhile, there was no sign of Edison Chen’s official statement from himself yesterday as promised by him on his blog regarding this scandal.

It seems that the media speculation has gotten to Edison Chen and while many berated him for running away instead of facing up to the mess he has stirred up, a official statement will be released later today. The media had created stories that Edison Chen was fighting back again this assassin that has been defaming him with the release of his private photos on his blog.

But Edison Chen has defused the media hopes with a new blog entry earlier this morning claiming that the pictures were screens from his new movie, “The Sniper” and has nothing to do with the photo scandal. That row of words were not posted recently at all but a few months back. Great way to tie this up with the movie promotion though I feel.

There were no new photos or videos posted at the time of writing. But shockingly, there were posts at a Hong Kong forum yesterday previewing that there were as much as 67 photos plus 2 videos. The preview list was listed in a catalouge format and coded 蕭2、pg7、bo3、鐘5、鄧4、q1、楊10、g9、周6、r8. The english alphabet and chinese name indicated the female star name while the number could be the amount of photos. The two videos are supposedly two clips totalling 13 minutes of DVD quality footage. All these however could be a hoax and are purely speculation on the part of netizens.

For other female stars linked, they have all claimed innocence and refused to have anything to do with it or comment. 4. Many “fans” have been stalking forums every minute of the day for any new pictures to surface and there are lots of help from his “fans” to spread the work he has done all over the internet.

Following the release of doctored photos of Gillian, Bobo Chan earlier, more photos of Cecilia Cheung were released yesterday and the day before and they were high-resolution pictures taken with a DSLR camera, D70. She appeared drunk as her face was flushed and various evidence like her tattoos seems to indicate it’s not a doctored picture by any chance.

The Hong Kong police admitted today that the doctored photos had no signs of being photoshopped, which was what many industry experts on photography and photoshop including the majority of the general public believe. There have been many cases of doctored photos in the past but no hoo-ha was made over them. Why the big hoo-ha this time? This can only mean one thing, the photos are real and EEG boss are trying to stop the scandal from blowing up even though it has already and looks hopeless.

The police have arrested an unemployed ethnic Chinese man in his late 20s in connection with the case yesterday too. The man was not named and his role in distributing the photos was still unclear. Officers had found 12 photos on a computer that would support charges of publishing obscene photos. They aren’t sure that this man is the culprit so the real suspect is probably still at large. They have also obtained IP addresses of 30 users who have aided in posting and spreading the photos over the Internet and will seek to prosecute them.

Rumours abound that the shots of Edison and Gillian could have been a 3P romp because there must be a 3rd person who was filming them and it could be Shawn Yue. The latest photo released on the internet after Cecilia Chung was shockingly revealed to be Hong Kong singer, Joey Yung but this was obviously photoshopped judging from the unnatural angle of the head. Final rumour is that the best of them all, Maggie Q is being saved for the last.
